Read the battle report
Do not stop at Victory or Defeat. Compare deployed forces, returned troops, wounded, permanently lost, rewards, hero availability, and the enemy information recorded for the encounter.
Wounded versus lost
Wounded
Can return to active duty through paid, timed treatment in the Sanguine Infirmary.
Lost
Are permanent casualties. Wounded troops beyond available Infirmary capacity can become losses.
Treat wounded troops
Open the Sanguine Infirmary
Review wounded totals, treatment capacity, cost, and time.

Prioritize the formation needed for your next activity.
Begin treatment
Treatment occupies its timer and returns completed troops to active duty.
Hero recovery
Injured heroes recover on their own timer and cannot perform conflicting jobs. The Hero Sanctum can improve recovery support. Maintain more than one usable leader so one injury does not stop all field activity.
Battle report checklist
| Report field | Question it answers |
|---|---|
| Deployed and returned | How much strength actually came home? |
| Wounded and lost | How much is recoverable, and what was permanent? |
| Formation breakdown | Did the frontline collapse before the rear could work? |
| Hero result | Is the leader injured or unavailable for the next march? |
| Rewards or loot | Did the outcome justify the commitment and recovery cost? |
| Target information | What should change before a repeat attempt? |
Recovery priority
- Check whether wounded troops exceed current Infirmary capacity.
- Treat the formation required for your next planned activity first.
- Allow Coven help and healing-speed effects to reduce the recovery burden where applicable.
- Keep a second ready hero if the primary leader is recovering.
- Replace permanent losses only after confirming the next target still warrants the cost.
