Choose by combat role
Start with the hero’s combat profile rather than rarity alone. Look at where they stand, what they control or protect, and what kind of march benefits from their skills.

Lyssara Veyne
Frost-shadow control, slows, burst setup, and anti-mobility support.

Evelyne Duskmere

Cassian Vhalor
Frontline dueling, burst execution, carry hunting, and aggressive marches.

Aurelia Thorne
Elite control, Charm pressure, anti-heal, disruption, and flexible support.
Develop a hero
- Level raises the hero’s baseline strength.
- Ascension uses hero fragments to advance the hero and improve skills automatically.
- Talents let you shape march-focused attributes as points become available.
- Bond is progression between you and one selected hero, strengthening that hero while active.
- Hero Equipment fills four regalia slots and can be improved, refined, protected, or dismantled.
Before sending a march
Confirm the role
Match your hero’s control, protection, damage, momentum, or weakening strengths to the fight.
Check the active Bond
If you are developing a specific hero, make sure that hero is still your active Bond before earning more progress.
Review equipment
Fill open regalia slots and compare equipped pieces before committing materials to upgrades.

- Injured and recovering
- Not yet acquired or unavailable in the current city era
- Already committed to a conflicting activity
Check the hero’s activity status before changing equipment or planning a rally around them.
