Hero forging materials
Bloodiron supports Hero Equipment enhancement and crafting. Graveforged Alloy and Sanguine Temper are used by eligible recipes; the recipe quote defines what is needed. Blueprint Fragments support recipe access, while Legendary blueprints concern their specific recipes. Veiled Essence is used for eligible Legendary bonus-attribute rerolls. Read the item description before opening a material chest.
Lord forging materials
Forge Fragments support Lord Equipment forging, Refinement Material supports eligible rerolls and Legendary Residue belongs to the Legendary forge path. Quality Material and Ascension Material can remain in older inventories, but the retired Lord star and ascension buttons are not current progression goals. Do not confuse Lord materials with hero fragments used for Hero Ascension.
Before spending or dismantling
Choose the item you intend to keep, inspect its next upgrade and compare the quote with your inventory. Equipment protection and keeping a reroll attribute are different controls. Unequip and unlock only the pieces you deliberately want to consume. Dismantling and crafting inputs are irreversible; a replacement should be compared before the old piece is spent.
